Conquer Manaslu the Eighth Summit

45 Days

Overview

The Manaslu trip is a comprehensive hiking adventure that brings mountaineers to the stunning heights of an 8,000-meter peak in the majestic Himalayan range. Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest peak, stands at 8,163m (26,774ft) and is located in the restricted hiking area of Manaslu in Nepal’s midwestern region. Manaslu, also known as the “Japanese peak,” has a particular place in the hearts of the Japanese people because it was the first successful climb by a Japanese team. Manaslu has become a symbol of Japan’s climbing expertise. The Manaslu Expedition begins with sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley before ascending through Machha Khola, Jagat, Nagyak, Namrung, Syalla hamlet, Samagaun, and finally arriving at the base camp. However, the Manaslu trek offers a distinct set of challenges that set it apart from previous high-altitude climbing adventures such as Cho Oyu and Sishapangma. As a result, each climber must be physically and emotionally prepared to face the climb’s intricacy and difficulty.
