Authentic Village Life at Ghale Gaun

Following a hearty breakfast, you will embark on a captivating sightseeing tour of various iconic places in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and Bouddhanath Stupa. After an enriching exploration of the historical and cultural sites, return to your hotel to rest. Later in the evening, you will meet with your tour guide and a representative from Gravity Expedition Pvt. Ltd. for a brief session. The day concludes with an authentic Nepali dinner in a cultural restaurant, offering a delightful end to your day.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, your four-wheel drive journey will begin, offering majestic views of lush green forests and the tranquil Trishuli River all the way to Muglin. Along the route, you will pass through typical Nepali villages predominantly inhabited by Gurung and Magar communities. About an hour away from Besisahar is Khudi, where the trail meanders through beautiful forests, providing an opportunity to catch a glimpse of wildlife. Here, you can indulge in birdwatching and wildlife exploration. Khudi will be our overnight destination.

After an early morning breakfast, your trek begins from Khudi along the riverbank. The path will lead you through fertile fields and villages with typical Nepali houses. This trail is not frequented by tourists, so you will need to follow the local trail all the way up to Ghale Gaun, a beautiful village of the Gurung community. It takes approximately 5 hours to reach Ghale Gaun, which may be tiring, but the scenic views of the beautiful mountains will revitalize your energy. Upon reaching Ghale Gaun, you will be warmly welcomed by the locals and your homestay host. In the evening, you will enjoy a typical Nepali dinner of Daal Bhat, providing an authentic Nepali experience.

This day is dedicated to exploring Ghale Gaun, making it the highlight of your trip. Early in the morning, you can witness the sunrise and the golden glow of Mt. Annapurna. After enjoying the sunrise, take the opportunity to explore the nearby villages surrounding your homestay. The local community is known for its kindness and friendliness. After exploring the nearby villages, return to your homestay for lunch. In the evening, you will have the chance to witness a cultural performance by the locals of Ghale Gaun. During the performance, you are welcome to join in if you are interested. Ghale Gaun will be your overnight destination.

With cherished memories and stories, you will return to Kathmandu on this day. The journey begins early in the morning and takes approximately 6-7 hours to reach Kathmandu. During the journey, you can enjoy the beautiful countryside, landscape, rivers, and scenery. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will have a farewell dinner.
