Serene of the Champadevi Hike

1 Day

Overview

Champadevi Hike is a popular hiking location in Kathmandu Valley, located in the southern part of the city. This is the third-highest hill in the Kathmandu valley, standing at 2278 meters. It is called after the hill’s patron goddess, Champa Devi, who guards the forest and surrounding area. At the middle lies a chapel dedicated to the goddess. There are two methods to reach the summit of Champadevi. You can either exit the Pharping or ascend directly from the MachheGaun. The Champadevi trek is one of the greatest ways to observe Kathmandu Valley, which includes the districts of Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. The Champadevi hill offers beautiful views of mountains and ranges like as Mt. Everest, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, Langtang, and Gaurishanker. During Champadevi Hiking, you can observe the Bagmati River, Bungamati, Khokana, Pharping, and Kirtipur, all of which are historical sites in Nepal. There are no shops or human settlements on top of this hill, so carry fruits, umbrellas, and some fast food with you on this trek. Champadevi day trek is meant for visitors who have limited time in Nepal but wish to experience the Kathmandu Valley, panoramic views of numerous gorgeous mountains, or travel to isolated areas and highlands.
