Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will need to complete your immigration procedures and obtain an On-Arrival VISA (if applicable to your country). Meanwhile, one of our representatives will be waiting for you at the arrivals. Following this, we will drive you to the confirmed hotel where you can rest, relax, and freshen yourself. Once the check-in procedure is completed, feel free to explore the streets of Thamel, the tourist hub, and enjoy a delightful dinner of your choice. Additionally, our office staff will accompany you for a short tour of Thamel, introducing you to good restaurants, ATMs, money changers, and other necessary places for your convenience during your stay in Thamel.
Following a hearty breakfast, you will embark on a captivating sightseeing tour of various iconic places in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and Bouddhanath Stupa. After an enriching exploration of the historical and cultural sites, return to your hotel to rest. Later in the evening, you will meet with your tour guide and a representative from Gravity Expedition Pvt. Ltd. for a brief session. The day concludes with an authentic Nepali dinner in a cultural restaurant, offering a delightful end to your day.
After having a hearty breakfast, the journey begins with a drive towards Pokhara, a city of a lake. After arriving at your designated hotel, you can unwind and relax. There you can explore Pokhara city and enjoy the ambience. You can enjoy various activities like boating in Fewa Lake, and paragliding. Pokhara will be your overnight destination.
The early morning drive begins after breakfast. As you embark on the drive, you can witness the majestic views of different mountain ranges and the Kali Gandaki River. You will be driven via Beni, Tatopani, Kalopani, Tupche, Marpha, and Jomsom, where you can witness the beauty of the Kali Gandaki Gorges, the deepest gorge in the world, as well as apple orchards in Marpha and Jomsom Airport.
You will embark on a four-wheel journey after a hearty breakfast. You will be driven towards Ghami Village, one of the largest villages with cultural enrichment and unique architecture in the Mustang district. One of the most unique features of Ghami village is the ancient water-driven prayer wheel, located near the entrance of the village. The prayer wheel is powered by water flowing from a nearby stream. It is believed that spinning the wheel brings good karma and blessings. During your drive, you can explore different Buddhist stupas and monasteries while crossing the Kali Gandaki river and passing through villages such as Chella, Samar, Syangboche, Bhina, Ghiling, and then Ghami.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will embark on an early morning drive to Lo Manthang, the capital of the former Kingdom of Lo, which was constructed in the 15th Century on a plateau at 3800 meters above sea level. This ancient settlement is situated on the ancient trade route that runs along the Kali Gandaki river as it cuts through the Himalayas. During your visit, you can explore the palace and the monasteries of Jampa Lakhang and Thupchen Lakhang, both dating back to the 15th Century. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the Lobas, the main inhabitants of Lo Manthang, who are closely related culturally and ethnically to the people of Western and Central Tibet. The culture of Lo Manthang is largely defined by the Sakyapa traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, and even today, many of the ancient festivals, rituals, and ceremonies are still being performed.
This day is completely dedicated to exploring Lo Manthang and Chossar village. During this excursion, you can visit the palace of Lo Manthang and the Buddhist School. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness domestic animals such as yaks and cattle, as well as picturesque mountain ranges. The main highlight of the day will be the oldest caves, dating back to 3000 years, which were used by ancient civilizations.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will be driven back to Muktinath, one of the sacred temples situated at the world’s highest altitude. The temple is revered by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. Also known as Mukti Kshetra, which literally means “liberation arena,” it is also a Char Dham site in Nepal. In addition to visiting the Muktinath Temple, you can explore its surrounding sites such as the Jwala Mai Temple and the 108 holy spouts.
On this day, you will be driven back to Tatopani from Muktinath, where you can experience a hot bath in natural hot springs. It is believed that the hot water from natural hot springs offers various health benefits. One of these benefits is its ability to alleviate and heal different bone problems, including arthritis. Tatopani will be your overnight destination.
Early drive towards Pokhara, a paradise for all travelers. Pokhara is renowned for its magnificent beauty, and this day is completely dedicated to exploring it. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can enjoy majestic views of the snow-capped mountains like Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Machhapuchre, Annapurna, Hiuchuli, Lamjung Himal, and Tukuche Peak. Besides these, you can explore famous tourist destinations such as Davis Fall, Mahendra Cave, the International Mountain Museum, Jangchub Choeling Gompa, and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. After a memorable day, you will be driven back to your confirmed hotel where you can unwind.
Early in the morning, you will be driven back to Kathmandu. During your stay in Kathmandu, you can request your guide to arrange a sightseeing trip around the Kathmandu Valley. Explore various cultural heritage sites such as the Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
